Front boot strap

The Front Boot Strap (commonly known as a frunk emergency release strap) is an important safety component installed in the front trunk (frunk) of Tesla vehicles. This brightly colored nylon or polyester strap serves as a manual interior release mechanism that allows occupants to open the frunk from the inside in case of electrical failure or emergency situations. The strap is typically mounted near the frunk latch mechanism and is clearly visible when the frunk is open, providing a reliable mechanical override when the primary electronic release system is unavailable.
