The Behind Height Sensor (commonly called a rear ride height sensor) is a crucial component in Tesla vehicles with air suspension, primarily Model S and Model X. Mounted on the rear suspension, this sensor continuously monitors the vehicle's rear ride height and attitude, sending real-time data to the suspension control module.
