Wiper kettle lid

A Wiper Kettle Lid is the cap or cover for the opening of the windshield washer fluid reservoir (often called the "wiper kettle"). Its primary function is to seal the reservoir to prevent contamination from dirt, debris, and moisture, while also allowing for easy refilling of washer fluid. Typically made from durable plastic, it often features a hinged design or a tethered connection to the reservoir to prevent loss. For Tesla vehicles, this component may integrate with the frunk tub design and maintain the clean aesthetic of the engine bay (frunk) area. A missing or damaged lid can lead to fluid evaporation, contamination, or system clogs.
